Join us in an age-old tradition of community dancing, held in historic Harmony Hall Community Center. It's a wonderful way to connect with your local community, friends and family. Enjoy a fun evening of forward and back, do-si-do, swing your partner and more! Dances are easy-to-learn circles, squares, contras and simple folk dances. Smiles and laughter guaranteed! No dance experience needed. Refreshments available.
New to Barn Dancing? Watch a video of community barn dances, taken at Harmony Hall & the Knox Octagon Barn (courtesy of Paul Rosenberg of Homespun Occasions). You don't need to know how to dance, we'll teach you the steps! It's as easy as walking and counting to four.
All ages welcome - bring the young 'uns, and grandma and grandpa, too! Your neighbors! Your friends!
What to wear? - Whatever's comfortable for the time of year, though keep in mind that dancing gets you warmed up. Comfortable shoes/sneakers are best for your feet.
