Dance caller for
Inter-generational family dances, international folk dances, contras and
squares, for all occasions. Schools, churches, community and private events.
Expertise in teaching beginners and those who have never danced -- any age, any
event.
Dance Flurry Festival -- Traditional dance & music festival held in
Saratoga Springs, NY. Held every February, Presidents' Day Weekend. Core dances:
contra, swing, latin, English Country, with various international folk dances
and dance styles available in both dance sessions and workshops. Music:
concerts, performance/styles demos and workshops in many forms. Scheduled Jam
sessions, and open jamming. Instrument workshops/lesson/performances. Singing
sessions and song/singing workshops. Tickets required for most events, some free
concerts and sessions.

Old Songs Festival (Altamont NY) -- folk music & dance festival held
last full weekend in June. Camping. Contra dances. Workshops. Concerts Fri, Sat,

Fiddlers' Tour
-- Every Week, Tuesday Nights:
Capital District open jam session for all
abilities/ages. Plays one month at one spot, then moves to new venue for next
month. Traditional-music instruments: fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bodhran &
light percussion, bass, etc. Sheet music/books welcome. All ages, abilities.
